Note: This is a standard starting template, not a substitute for legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Pakistani data-protection requirements before relying on it for a live product.

This policy explains what information Schoolage collects through this website, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

Who is responsible

Schoolage is responsible for the information collected through this website. You can reach us at any time using the details in the Contact section below.

What we collect

  • Details you submit through our demo/contact form, seat-pricing calculator or Future-Ready Institution Assessment, such as your name, institution name, role, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, number of students or seats, and any message you write.
  • Assessment answers and the score and readiness bands calculated from them, which we store with your submission so your result page can be shown to you.
  • Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
  • Basic technical information collected automatically by your browser and our hosting provider (such as pages visited, device and browser type, and IP address) for security and site performance.
  • Usage analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics records pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location, device and browser, and actions such as submitting a form or opening WhatsApp.
  • Preferences stored on your device, such as your light/dark theme, region and cookie choice, kept in your browser's local storage.

Please don't enter student records or other sensitive personal data into website forms.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your demo request, enquiry or assessment submission and follow up by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
  • To email you a link to your assessment result and roadmap when you ask for it.
  • To prepare relevant demos, pricing estimates and proposals.
  • To understand which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations where required.

Our basis for using it

We use your information because you asked us to (for example by submitting a form), because it is needed to respond to you and prepare for a possible service agreement, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving a secure website, or because the law requires it.

How we store and secure it

Form submissions are stored in a cloud database (Google Firebase / Firestore). If that is temporarily unavailable, a submission may instead be delivered to us through an email form-handling service. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

How we share it

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this website or handle submissions, solely to provide that service to us:

  • Cloud database and hosting providers (Google Firebase and our website host).
  • Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Email delivery providers, used to send you your result link and to receive form submissions.
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users or the security of the site.

Assessment result links

Your result page is reached through a unique, randomly generated link that cannot be guessed. Anyone you share the link with can view that result (including the name and institution you entered), so please keep it private if you don't want others to see it.

How long we keep it

We retain contact information for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

International transfers

Our service providers may process information on servers outside Pakistan. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to the information they handle for us.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • You can withdraw consent or opt out of further contact at any time.
  • You can clear stored preferences by clearing your browser's site data.

To do any of the above, email us at leads@schoolage.net. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

  • No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • Local storage (necessary). We store your theme, region and cookie choice, and remember on your device that you have completed the assessment. This information stays in your browser.
  • Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers.

You can change your choice at any time: . You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser.
